9th Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Ministerial Meeting in Tehran

Department of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Rafael E. Seguis, led the Philippine delegation to the 9th Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Ministerial Meeting held in Tehran on 08-09 November 2010. The members of the delegations were Charge d' Affaires Mariano A. Dumia and OMEAA Director Imelda M. Panolong.

ACD member-countries Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyztan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Oman, Pakistan, Philippines,  Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan and Vietnam participated in the meeting.

At the sidelines of the conference, Usec Seguis together with CDA Dumia and Director Panolong, met with Bhutan’s Head of Delegation, Economic Affairs Minister Lyonpo Khandu Wangchuk, accompanied by Bhutan’s Ambassador to India V. Namgyel at Bilateral Meeting Room No. 1 before the start of the conference’s morning session on 09 November 2010.

 

After the conclusion of the 9th Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Ministerial Meeting in the afternoon of 09 November 2010,Usec Seguis visited the Embassy to meet with Embassy officers and staff led by CDA Mariano A. Dumia.   Usec. Seguis together with Director Panolong, also visited Post’s two-bedroom “Welfare Center” at the Chancery building and met the distressed Filipinos. END
