RP Embassy in Tehran conducts OAV with Filipinos on Mother's Day

The Philippine Embassy in Tehan conducted an Overseas Absentee Voting (OAV) registration and reiterated its call on Filipinos to register for the OAV as the  Pinay-Irano Family Community (PIFC) celebrated Mother's Day at the Embassy Grounds on 14 May 2009.

The event aimed to recognize the efforts of all Filipino mothers based in Iran, in successfully raising their children. Mothers whose children graduated in college this year were given special citation.  

Ambassador Generoso Senga was the main speaker during the program.

The Pinay-Irano Family Community is an association in Iran compose mostly of the members are Filipinas married to Iranians. END
